Unfortunately, I don't have space enough to collect a guitar per game, so I need to buy a controller that allows me to play as many games as possible. It's really hard to find brand new bundles, but fortunately my local shop has some used controllers for ps3, that are: Guitar Hero Aerosmith; Guitar Hero Metallica; Guitar Hero 5 Controller; The $80 PC bundle is cheaper than any other version of the game, but it includes the Xplorer guitar bundled with the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero II, rather than the updated axe modeled after a Previously, fans of the game were able to play Guitar Hero on the Xbox Series X, but due to incompatibility issues, the game does not currently work on the new console. However, the developers of Guitar Hero are working hard to make the game compatible with the Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, it is not yet known when this will become available.

It can be played using a normal ps2 controller, but only if you press the left arrow on the D-Pad while inserting the controller. That makes the game detect the controller as a guitar. The controls are different though, as it doesn't use L2 for Green, L1 for Red, R1 for Yellow, R2 for Blue, and X for Orange, like in previous Guitar Hero games.

Only thing you can use the controller for is for singing, but you also have to either have a USB mic or a controller mic. So on 360, it's only GH2, 3, and Aerosmith that can

That answers it, so I can play with a controller. I am not sure if it's worth the price of the guitar after seeing them for $50 to $60.
