Launch Far Cry New Dawn and play until your reach an autosave. Exit the game, re-enable cloud saves and the overlay and restart Ubisoft Connect. When the game starts back up, you will get a message about which save to use. Make sure to select the local save, not the cloud game save. Ubisoft Connect will then update with the local save.

Okay, I don't want to give anybody a lecture on the difference between Server-side Save Data File and Client-side Save Data File. Clearing your Saved Data on your console doesn't fix the problem with this bug because it is a Server-side bug and not a Client-side bug. I.e a corrupt profile is what has caused the Saved Data File to be corrupted.
It’s not that auto save is bad, it’s that it a) they removed the manual save and b) it doesn’t work properly. Is anyone else suffering issues with progress not saving, or no manual save option existing? Edit: I haven't had a chance to test this but I have been told that you can only save when you are not in an area controlled by the Pedis. If you are in a safe area the option to save returns. But there's been a problem with my windows so I have to uninstall the game and I'm wondering if my progress will save when i reinstall it. So I've come back to this game recently and I've noticed my progress hasn't saved the last 2 times I've "Save and Quit",I've verified my game cahce and it doesn't seem to help anyone got any idea?
